Wise Acre Farm's Harrington Avenue Farm Stand opened in June of 2007. I hadn't planned on opening a farm stand in 2007, and only planted a vegetable garden for my husband and myself, plus a little extra for family and friends. Well, as it happens every year, my idea of a small "family garden" turned into an overload of beautiful vegetables. All those veggies, plus an abundance of fruit from our trees and herbs from the herb gardens made me decide to give the farm stand idea a go, and I'm glad I did. It's been fun, and it has allowed me to meet many neighbors that I've never had a chance to talk to before.
