Welcome to the farm part of Wise Acre Farm. I grow a variety of vegetables, fruit and flowers for fresh market sales, and hard-shell gourds for my artwork and for sale to other artists, schools and decorators.

Fresh Market
Wise Acre Farm got its start in 1997 as a successful CSA business, delivering fresh produce and flowers weekly to customers in the local area. The CSA business is still going strong and the delivery season runs from late May to early December. See the CSA page for more information on deliveries.
In 2008, as a board member of the Arbuckle Reviatlization committee, I started the Arbuckle Certified Farmers Market, which I also manage. I sell fresh produce at the Market too. The Market runs from early June to late September. See the Farmers Market page for more information.
Farm Fresh Eggs
I have 50 laying hens that produce extraordinarily delicious eggs!
Gourds
At the end of the 2002 growing season, I decided to make gourds an integral part of my business. I grow about an acre of hard-shell gourds every year. I use them for my artwork and sell them on the Gourd Store page of this website and through LocalHarvest.org.
The Land
At Wise Acre Farm, as with most small farms, we have a great love for the land and a great love for our animal friends. A portion of the Wise Acre Farm acreage is given to livestock. We are also working with the local NRCS and RCD offices to integrate the use of native plantings around the property to encourage natural habitat restoration. We practice sustainable farming methods, and strongly believe in the importance of preserving and taking great care of the land.
